VS1-12 / 1250 high-voltage indoor side mounted vacuum circuit breaker (VCB) can operate frequently or break short-circuit current multiple times within the working current range. Its mechanical life can reach 30000 times, and the breaking times of full capacity short-circuit current can reach 50 times. The VS1 series is suitable for reclosing operation with high reliability and service life. It adopts the integration of operating mechanism and VCB body. The operating mechanism adopts the spring energy storage type, which has two functions of electric and manual energy storage. When the circuit breaker works, the energy of the energy storage spring is transmitted to the linkage mechanism through the output cam, and then to the dynamic contact mechanism through the linkage mechanism.
The VS1 side mounted VCB can be designed as a fixed installation unit or a special propulsion mechanism to form a handcart unit. It can be equipped with KYN28A-12 (GZS) and other central handcart type switchgear, or XGN fixed type switchgear.
According to different insulation structure, The VS1 series can be divided into common insulating cylinder type and embedded pole type.
1. The common type VCB adopts vertical insulating cylinder made of insulating materials to prevent the influence of various climates, and in the aspect of maintenance, it usually only needs to clean or lubricate the operating mechanism occasionally. The conductive circuit of the main part of the common type circuit breaker is arranged in a cylindrical insulating cylinder.
2. The epoxy embedded pole type VCB adopts fixed seal pole insulation (that is, through APG process, epoxy resin is used to seal the arc chamber and upper and lower outlet ends, reducing the size of the arc chamber, and improving the weather resistance and mechanical support), high service life and maintenance free. It is suitable for frequent operation under rated current in power system or places with multiple short-circuit breaking current.

1. The upper limit of ambient air temperature shall not be higher than + 40 ºC, and the lower limit shall not be lower than - 15 ºC (it is allowed to store and transport at - 30 ºC):
2. When the product is used in 7.2kV system in the area with an altitude of no more than 1000m, the applicable altitude can be increased to 3000m;
3. Relative humidity: daily average value is not more than 95%, and monthly average value is not more than 90%;
4. Saturated steam pressure: the daily average value is not more than 2.2 × 103mpa, and the monthly average value is not more than 1.8 × 103mp. When the temperature drops sharply in the humidity period, condensation may occur;
5. The installation site shall be free from frequent violent vibration;
6. The surrounding air shall be free from the obvious pollution of corrosive or combustible gas and water vapor;
7. The installation site shall be dry and clean;
8. The earthquake intensity shall not exceed 8 degrees.
